Alvaro Luna received the B.Sc. M.Sc and PhD. degrees in electrical engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain. He joined the faculty of UPC in 2005, where he is currently an Assistant Professor.His research interests include wind turbines control, integration of distributed generation, and power conditioning. Dr. Luna is a member of the IEEE Power Electronics Society, the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, and the IEEE Industrial Applications Society.
